About the material
The encasement features a micro-porous TPU lining with a pore size of less than 2 microns (2 µm). This creates a physical barrier designed to restrict the movement of dust mites, bed bugs, pet dander and other allergen particles in and out of the mattress. The encasement also helps reduce the spread of particles becoming airborne when the mattress is disturbed.
Once installed and kept sealed, the encasement isolates the mattress surface. Any insects or allergens already present in the mattress cannot access food sources or escape through the barrier, which significantly limits survival and reduces further allergen build-up.
This product is third-party tested and recommended by Australian bedding specialists for homes looking to reduce allergen exposure and protect mattresses from liquid spills, stains and general wear.

How should I use the mattress protectors?
For optimal results, it is recommended to use the mattress protectors in conjunction with a secondary slip-on mattress protector placed on top. The slip-on mattress protector should be taken off the mattress and laundered weekly along with your other bedding, while keeping the mattress encasement securely sealed.
How often should I wash the mattress covers?
Dust mite mattress protectors require washing typically every 6 to 12 months. If the protectors appear clean and without visible dirt, using a steam cleaner can serve as a convenient and efficient alternative.
Is cotton or waterproof material more effective at creating allergen barrier?
Both options are equally effective in controlling allergens, dust mites, bed bugs, pet dander, scabies, and other allergens.
Are the cotton mattress protectors waterproof?
The cotton mattress protectors are not waterproof, they will not protect a mattress from liquid spills, dirt, or grime.
How should I choose the depth of the protectors?
