NDIS Participants

Allergen-reduction bedding for NDIS participants

If dust mites trigger asthma, eczema, rhinitis or other allergic conditions, our encasements and allergy bedding are designed to create a barrier that reduces exposure to dust mite allergens in the bed — where people spend a third of their day. This page explains how participants and their support teams can order from us.

Can I use my NDIS funding?

We welcome orders from plan-managed and self-managed participants, who are free to purchase from any supplier. Whether a specific item can be claimed is always decided individually as part of your plan — it depends on your goals and what is reasonable and necessary for your situation. If you're unsure, we recommend checking with your plan manager, support coordinator or occupational therapist before ordering.

We are not able to bill the NDIA directly for agency-managed plans.

How to order

  1. Browse our range and choose the items you need (most participants start with mattress, pillow and quilt encasements).
  2. Place your order through our website as normal, or email us if you'd like help selecting the right sizes.
  3. If you're self-managed, pay at checkout and keep your tax invoice to claim through the myplace portal.
  4. If you're plan-managed, send us your plan manager's details and we'll arrange invoicing with them.

Need a quote first?

Some participants or their OTs prefer a written quote before purchasing. Email us at info@dustmiteallergysolutions.com.au with the items and sizes you need, and we'll send a quote and a product description you can include with your request.

Tax invoices

Every order comes with a compliant tax invoice showing our ABN ([ABN]), an itemised product description and the amount paid — everything you need for a claim or for your plan manager.

For occupational therapists & support coordinators

We're happy to support your clients. We can provide written quotes, product specifications (including fabric pore size and allergen-barrier details to help substantiate a recommendation), and bulk or multi-room orders. Contact us at info@dustmiteallergysolutions.com.au or [phone] and we'll help however we can.

A note on claims

We don't describe our products as "NDIS approved" or endorsed — there's no such thing, and funding is always assessed individually. Our bedding is designed to reduce exposure to dust mite allergens; it is not a medical treatment. Always follow the advice of your treating health professionals.
