Color

An organic bamboo fitted cot sheet from Australian brand Honey & Stitch, in your choice of four named colours: Ocean, Forest, Earth, or Mist. Sized 130 × 70cm with a 17cm depth to fit a standard Australian cot mattress. Measure your mattress before purchase — Australian cots vary, and a fitted sheet works best with a snug, well-fitting mattress.

Why Honey & Stitch bamboo

  • OEKO-TEX® certified bamboo fabric. Honey & Stitch markets the fabric as OEKO-TEX certified. OEKO-TEX® certification on this product is held by the manufacturer.
  • Smooth fibre surface. Rayon bamboo (the regenerated bamboo fibre used in this sheet) has a noticeably smooth surface, often described as silky in feel.
  • Breathable and thermoregulating. Bamboo-derived fabrics are absorbent and breathable.
  • Stretchy fitted design. The fabric flexes to fit the mattress and stays in place even for active sleepers.
  • Designed in Australia. Honey & Stitch is an Australian brand specialising in bedding and clothing for children with sensitive skin.
  • Available in four named colours. Ocean (blue), Forest (green), Earth (terracotta), and Mist (soft grey-beige).

Frequently asked

What does "OEKO-TEX certified" mean?
OEKO-TEX is a global testing and certification system for textiles. The most common standard, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, tests fabrics for over 100 substances that are harmful to humans. Honey & Stitch markets this fabric as OEKO-TEX certified.

Is this suitable for sensitive skin?
We don't make safety claims for specific medical conditions. Bamboo-derived fabrics are often chosen by families managing sensitive skin because the fibre surface is very smooth and the fabric is breathable. The OEKO-TEX certification means the fabric has been tested for harmful substances under that standard. Every child is different — for advice specific to your child's situation, talk to your GP, paediatrician, or dermatologist.

How does this compare to a 100% cotton or hemp cot sheet?
Bamboo (rayon bamboo) is the softest of the three from new but the most processed. Cotton is moderately soft, mechanically processed, and widely available. Hemp is the most durable, has documented antibacterial properties, but feels coarser at first. None is "best" — it depends on what you want most. For a hemp option, see our Little Gem hemp cot sheet.

What size cot does this fit?
The sheet is sized 130cm long × 70cm wide × 17cm deep. Australian cot mattresses vary slightly between brands and models — measure your specific mattress before purchase. A snug, well-fitting sheet is also a safe-sleep consideration.
