A twin pack of king size pillows with a 100% cotton cover and a generous 1100g resilient polyester fill, made in Australia. Two free white king size pillowcases are included.

At 1100gsm, this is a substantial, high-loft fill — noticeably fuller than a typical standard pillow. The 4cm gusseted side wall helps the pillow retain its shape and provides more even support across the shoulder. Suits back and side sleepers who prefer a fuller, higher pillow. Not suited to those who prefer a flat or low-profile pillow.

According to the manufacturer, this pillow is naturally hypoallergenic, dust-free and odourless, and treated with a non-allergenic Health Guard finish.

King size pillows are 90 × 50cm — they won't fit a standard pillowcase and are designed to sit two across a king size bed without gaps.

Using this pillow in an allergy-aware bedroom

According to the manufacturer, this pillow is naturally hypoallergenic and treated with a non-allergenic Health Guard finish. A review published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: In Practice (Wilson & Platts-Mills, 2018) found that the odds of successful avoidance are significantly higher with a multi-faceted approach — combining physical barriers, humidity control, washing routines and air purification — than with any single measure alone.

Encasing the pillow in a dust mite pillow protector is widely considered one of the most practical steps for reducing allergen exposure at the surface closest to your face. For a full guide to building an allergy-aware bedroom, visit our low allergen bedroom hub.

A complete allergy-aware bedroom typically includes:

  • Dust mite covers — physical barriers for your pillow, quilt and mattress
  • A dehumidifier — keeping humidity below 50% limits dust mite survival
  • An air purifier — reduces airborne allergen particles
  • A HEPA vacuum — helps reduce allergen from carpets, rugs and upholstery

It's worth noting that "hypoallergenic" is not a regulated or standardised term in Australia — there is no official threshold a product must meet to carry the label. The manufacturer's claim reflects their own assessment rather than a certified standard.
