Quick specs

  • CADR: 180 m³/h
  • HEPA grade: H11 (≥95% at 0.3μm)
  • Suited to: small rooms — bedrooms, studies, kids' rooms
  • Filter replacement: HEPA approx. every 6–12 months

The Devanti Air Purifier is a small-room air purifier with an H11 grade HEPA filter, an activated carbon filter, an air quality sensor, and four operating modes — bundled with an additional replacement filter so the next service interval is already covered. CADR 180 m³/h. Suitable for bedrooms, home offices, or single-room use up to about 20-30 m² (manufacturer figure).

Who it's for

Households wanting a HEPA-filtered air purifier for a single room — bedrooms, nurseries, home offices, or studios. The bundled spare filter means you've got the next replacement on hand before the filter-change indicator activates. The 180 m³/h CADR rating matches a small space; this isn't a whole-house purifier. Particularly useful in dust-mite-allergy-conscious households alongside encasement bedding, or in homes with pets or seasonal pollen exposure.

Key features and specifications

  • Filtration: 4-layer system — pre-filter, H11 grade HEPA filter, activated carbon filter, ioniser
  • CADR: 180 m³/h (manufacturer-rated)
  • Coverage: 20-30 m² (manufacturer figure). Note: this is the manufacturer's stated coverage. By the AHAM 5-air-changes-per-hour standard for purification-grade air turnover, the effective coverage is closer to 12-15 m² — match the unit to a smaller room if dust-mite-particle reduction is the priority.
  • Power: 50 W
  • Voltage: 220-240 V, 50 Hz
  • Modes: Automatic, Normal, Efficient, Silent (4 fan speeds)
  • Air quality sensor — colour-coded indicator (good / fair / poor)
  • Timer: 8-hour
  • Built-in ioniser (releases negative ions; can be switched off — see note below)
  • Remote control included
  • Digital control panel
  • Filter change indicator
  • Carry handle for portability
  • Dimensions (purifier): 31.5 × 20 × 52 cm
  • Dimensions (replacement filter): 24 × 3.5 × 30 cm
  • Power cord: 1.6 m
  • Colour: white
  • Assembly required: no
  • Warranty: 1 year manufacturer

Note on the ioniser. The built-in ioniser produces trace ozone as a by-product (this is true of all negative-ion generators). For ozone-sensitive individuals, the ioniser can be switched off and the unit run as a HEPA + carbon purifier only. Please consult your healthcare professional before using ionising functions if you have respiratory sensitivity.

How it works

Air is drawn in through the back, passes through the pre-filter (which catches large particles like hair, lint, and pet fur), then through the H11 HEPA layer (which captures fine airborne particles), then through the activated carbon layer (which adsorbs odours and some volatile organic compounds), and is finally vented out. The ioniser is a separate function — it emits negative ions which attach to airborne particles and cause them to settle out of the air rather than circulate. The air quality sensor monitors real-time particulate levels and adjusts fan speed automatically when set to Auto mode.

What it doesn't do

This is an air purifier, not a medical device. We don't make claims about treating allergies or any other health condition. The H11 filter is suitable for general household allergen and dust filtration — it's not medical-grade (H13/True HEPA).

FAQs

What size room does it suit? The manufacturer states 20-30 m² coverage. By the AHAM 5-air-changes-per-hour standard for purification-grade air turnover (the rate that meaningfully reduces airborne allergen concentration), effective coverage is closer to 12-15 m². If allergen reduction is the priority, match the unit to a smaller room; for general air freshening, the manufacturer figure is the relevant one.

What does H11 grade mean? H11 is an EN 1822 HEPA filter classification. H11 captures ≥95% of particles at MPPS (the most penetrating particle size, around 0.1-0.3 microns). It's one step below H13 ("True HEPA," ≥99.95%). For everyday allergen and dust filtration in a small room, H11 is sufficient.

How often should I replace the filter? Devanti's general guidance is once a year under normal household use. The filter change indicator will signal when replacement is due. With the bundled spare in the box, you've got one replacement ready; further replacements are sold separately (Devanti 3-pack washable filters).

Is it loud? Quiet on Silent mode (suitable for overnight use in a bedroom). Louder on Efficient mode. Most owners run it on Auto, which adjusts fan speed based on detected air quality.

Does the ioniser produce ozone? Yes, in trace amounts — this is true of all negative-ion generators. For ozone-sensitive individuals with respiratory sensitivities, switch the ioniser off and run the unit on its HEPA + carbon stages only. Please consult your healthcare professional before using ionising functions if you have respiratory sensitivity.
