Allergoff is an allergen-neutralising spray designed to reduce the concentration of common household allergens on treated surfaces — house dust mite allergens, pollen, pet dander, and fungal allergens — by binding them into larger particles that settle and can be removed by vacuuming.
About the formulation
The formulation uses microencapsulation technology, designed to release the active ingredients gradually at the application site. The active ingredients are benzyl benzoate, isopropyl myristate, citric acid, hypromellose, poly(vinyl alcohol), and colloidal silica.
Manufacturer's claim on duration
ICB Pharma states that a single application provides anti-allergen efficacy for up to 6 months.
How to use
Spray onto mattresses, pillows, upholstered furniture, carpets, rugs, curtains, plush toys, and car upholstery. One 400ml bottle covers approximately 40m².

Allergoff is designed to neutralise allergens on treated surfaces — it doesn't kill dust mites.
If you have allergy symptoms, talk to your GP. Reducing allergen exposure in the home is one part of allergen management; published research (Gøtzsche & Johansen 2008; van Boven et al. 2024) suggests combined measures work better than any single approach.
Allergoff sits alongside dust mite encasements (which create a physical barrier between you and mite reservoirs) and steam cleaners (which use heat on surfaces that can't be washed).
FAQ
What does "allergen-neutralising" mean?
The active ingredients are designed to bind to allergen proteins and clump them into larger particles, so they're less likely to stay airborne and be inhaled. The bound particles can then be removed by vacuuming. This is different from killing dust mites, which Allergoff doesn't do.
